WHAT IS FIVE CITIES YOUTH BASEBALL

FCYB is a Cal Ripken Baseball youth organization chartered under Babe Ruth Baseball. Our tournament trail leads to the Cal Ripken World Series. 

The Cal Ripken World Series is home to the best 12-year-old baseball players in the world, representing the Cal Ripken Major/70 division of the Babe Ruth League. It's the culmination of a year-long journey known as the Road to Aberdeen.

In 2014, the event is bigger than ever with ten teams from across the US joining eight top teams from around the world in a tournament to crown a single world champion. 

WHAT WE OFFER

Keep Baseball fun for ALL kids while teaching fundamental Baseball.

We are truly open to ALL kids with the desire to play real baseball like the Pros. No players are refused! No City boundaries!

Unlike other leagues, ALL funds raised stay in our local league. This year 23,000 dollars in equipment and field improvement were donated to the kids.

Cal Ripken is designed to progressively develop ALL players’ skills and abilities.

ALL Coaches are trained and have received certification from the Cal Ripken League.

More options for year end tournament teams. Cal Ripken gives more players the opportunity to play "All Stars".
